Advantages of D12.42DC02 Marine Auxiliary Engine

Developed jointly with British Ricardo based on the proven Steyr WD615 platform, the D12 engine features a frame-type main bearing structure for high rigidity, one-head-per-cylinder four-valve design, and rear-mounted gear train to reduce noise and improve durability.
The engine adopts a middle-mounted supercharger, dual-circulation cooling system with the intercooler above the flywheel housing, and integrated water outlet pipe, ensuring a compact footprint ideal for ship cabin installation.
With multi-V belt-driven accessories and the same output-end installation dimensions as the WD615 series, the D12 offers excellent parts interchangeability and easy disassembly, minimizing maintenance complexity and costs.
